We are animals !?

Today i saw intercourse between male and female dog on the street. They were getting superb pleasure from it just as we guys and gals get !

Are we animals and have we created artifical world involving languages, science, economics etc?

Since we are born with instincts, like any other animal--yes.

What sets us apart is our ability to reason and evolve mentally, surpressing our instincts in our daily lives.

Of course we are still animals. All animals have s*x, and so do we. Well, according to Freud's theory, most things that we do daily is only for pleasure. However, we can argue that it's not, since the things which you have mentioned above are due to the curiosity and the pursuit of beauty which are unique to human beings. This is what makes us humans, and this is why we have done all these incredible things and are still continuing to evolve morally and to improve everything around us. But you're right, a human's craving for s*x is one big characteristic which makes us animal-like.

Just because we are more developed, doesn't mean it is artificial. We are more evolved and are able to create better ways to meet our needs or to accomplish a task.

and besides, i'm sure we have better s*x than dogs--we know many many more positions.

second question re artificial world yes i am afraid so, we live in a kind of self constructed matrix which is temporary and subject to change by each new generation --- not connected with the movie by the same name way by the way.

We are DEFINATELY animals.  If you really think about it, most everything is based on s*x, reproduction, ect.  Anything else is based on personal pleasure.  So yeah, we're all savages, intercourse style.
