They control every aspect of your life. Take a look at your world here, Compared to generations ago. quess what you find. Wear your searbelt, don't stop after work and drink a beer. You'll lose your licence. Don't smoke a cigarette in public.

Do not correct your child by giving them a spanking. Sorry but, that's child abuse. Don't let your children say the pledge in school because it mentions god.

Don't say merry christmas you might offend someone. Don't defend your home because the criminal holds all the rights. And lords knows whatever you do don't let the ten commandments be displayed in public.

Oh yes, do not defend christianity, the A.C.L.U. will cruciffy you.

Claim your an athiest, they'll cover your butt.

Don't take a knife to school to cut your steak, you'll face a felony. Oh yes, don't let your daughter take a nail file.

Just to finish off, why is our system programmed to only cover two parties? Show me where in the constitution that it only gives equall rights to the

  1. that is right

  2. Socialist, imo. This is what the 2nd amendment is for. My advice: learn how to reload now, it'll save you later.

  3. We are in an early socialist stage, and heading towards communism.  As someone noted, communists generally control all economic facets of an society.  We're getting there.

Look what's happening with this sub-prime loan mess.  The government is coming in, yet again, and telling banks how to run their businesses.  "You can't charge for this"  "You can't waive this".

Want to run a business out of your home that will not interfere with the quiet enjoyment of your neighbors?  Tough.  You must first pay lucre to all powerful Nanny.

Government is supposed to regulate, not operate.

The socialist "hive mentality" has taken strong grip on our society.  Don't do what someone has deemed as politically correct, and you're crucified.  Question Nanny and be crushed!

  4. Communism is an economic system, not a system of government. So the answer to your question is an unqualified no.

  5. No.

Public Safety laws are not communist (seat belt wearing, drunk driving, smoking).  They do save lives - thousands per year.

Spanking is not child abuse in any jurisdiction.

The pledge is said in school everyday just about everywhere in America.  What you are complaining about is the people who invoke the very freedoms you treasure to not participate in the pledge or invoke God.

The government does not and cannot restrict the Greeting "Merry Christmas".  Almost no one finds it the least bit offensive.  Why do you worry about the dolts that do?  In any event, the government has no say in the matter.

The ACLU does not crucify anyone, and does not take actions against people.  The ACLU is there to stop the government from abridging the rights and freedoms the government exists to protect.

They serve steak in your child's school?

You are perfectly free to start a new party.  But if no one is buying what you are selling in the marketplace of ideas, your party will go no where.

  6. yes, it is moving from fascism to communism

there is a balance between the two

  7. If you're griping on about the most excellent political system we have in the UK, I've been saying it for years.

A vote doesn't actually count as a vote on an equal basis I was suprised to read recently, dependent on where the votes are cast. eg. Labour could get 20K votes, Conservatives 30K, and Labour would still win, so yes it is becoming communist.

But watch out - Big Brother is watching.

When he turns his back, he deserves a mighty boot up the rear and a damned good stuffing of Brussells.

  8. hey have a look at this:

    http://www.ellensplace.net/fascism.html

what do you think?  I think its even more serious than the stuff you mentioned, dont you?

  9. Stop socialism in order that it will not evolve into communism.

  10. I wouldn't think of it as communist, more of to many people getting their way of how this country should be run. A few of the items you pointed out is because people won't do what they should for their safety and health and that of everyone else around them. There are to many weak people in office that won't uphold what is in the constitution, also they don't have ways to stand-up to people that want to change what it says. Alot of these problems are brought about because of special interest groups, the people they support and get into office.

If we were becoming a Communist Society, do really think that alot of the things you pointed out would be taking place. Someone on Yahoo that has lived in a country that there is communist rule, can best tell you how things are run.

  11. Communism is defined by the state control of capital and centralized planning of the economy.

So no I do not agree with you - but then again I have the benefit of an education and the capacity for rational thought.

  12. why do you describe it as negative?...communism is good...it starts with social brotherhood, equality...aren't you happy we could be all equal or you want to preserve your privileges?

  13. If you think the U.S. is becoming a communist society, pay a visit to China and North Korea and see how they compare to the U.S.

"Wear your searbelt, don't stop after work and drink a beer. You'll lose your licence. Don't smoke a cigarette in public."

Do you really think it should be legal to drive drunk? If you ask me, the Drunk Driving laws need to be a lot more strict than they are. The penalties for drunk driving are rediculously light. Every day, people are being slaughtered and maimed for life by drunk drivers. And meanwhile, we have people like you saying that drunk driving is perfectly safe. Oh, and it's still legal to smoke in public. It shouldn't be, though. I'm sick of people spewing cancer-causing gasses around me. If you have to smoke, do it on your own property, or even better, quit.

  14. What you laid out is not communism. A communist society is one in which all means of production are owned by the state. What you laid out might be called totalitarianism. And I will agree that is evil. But, all that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good people to do nothing.

  15. You and several of the answers show how clueless the average American. We might be moving closer to socialism, but definitely not towards communism (Marxism).

As for fascism, it is the PC-liberal elitists that are driving us that direction.

  16. Agreed, and it getting weird too, here in Florida I must wear a seat belt in my car, but I ride my motorcycle without a helmet.

A 20 year old can join the military, vote, marry, own property, but cannot have beer.

Al Gore should be jailed and prosecuted under the Logan Act.

Hillary Clinton should have been jailed for numerous financial schemes and for stealing white house china and silverware.

Bill Clinton should be prosecuted for treason for allowing Osama Bin Laden to go freely.

The Nutjob president of Iran should have been jailed and prosecuted when last on American soil for his participation in the takeover of the American Embassy in Iran in 1979.

  17. Yes I do. And if Clinton gets elected it will only get worse.
