We are cruising to costa rica feb 28 '08. should we take aerial tram/canopy tram or the boatride thru forest

can anyone help us with public bus that takes us to the base of the forest where we can take the aerial tram or canopy tram? any advises are most welcome.

The aerial tram is not at the base of the forest but near the summit.  I don't think it will be feasible to take the bus unless you can leave early from Limon (by 8 or 9 a.m. at the latest ).  The Limon bus station is in a shady area, so I would advise getting there before dark (6?).  

I would guess that for a $100 or so,  4 or 5 of you could get a taxi to take you there and wait for you.  That would be the best way to go because you could then stop and take pictures if you wished.

There are two aerial tram in Costa Rica: one close to the Atlantic coast and the other in the Pacific coast. The one close to Limon in the Atlantic coast, it is about 90 minutes from the coast.

The company that runs the aerial tram could help you arrange the transportation.

It is a beautiful experince.
