The assistant to the head coach of Juventus has gone on to comment ahead of his last match as the stand in tactician at the club and reiterated that Juve are ready.
The reigning champions of the Serie A are finally battling it out in the Champions League and they still have all to play for in their upcoming match. The Bianconeri outfit had an indifferent start to their Champions League run during the current campaign,
as they drew the first three matches. However, it has been in the second round of fixtures that the Turin giants have finally got their act together, and they have been thoroughly convincing in the European championships.
They overcame the reigning European Champions with a convincing victory at the Juventus Arena, with the team winning the match by 3-0. Furthermore, they had also secured victory against Nordsjaelland and set foot on their path of redemption following their
indifferent start to the season. Even though the set of results was sparked by their first loss in 49 matches in the Serie (which came at the hands of bitter rivals, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan) in the Derby d’Italia; it was a much needed wake up call for the Turin giants
who made things better for the team.
The match against Shakhtar Donetsk would be a tough fixture as the Turin giants would be travelling away to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032 to face off the Donetsk outfit. This has put a question mark over the future of Juventus in the competition to which Angelo Alessio has aptly
replied by stating that they are fully driven to secure their future in the knockout stages.
He also remarked on the impending return of Antonio Conte which would see the assistant take a back seat to all the action, and was quoted to have said:
“We are very happy at Antonio’s impending return, but right now we are all exclusively focused on this match. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Giorgio-Chiellini-c14963 trained yesterday and is regularly at our disposal. Antonio will then decide the starting XI tomorrow.”
The Bianconeri defender is an integral part of the team and missed out on two games due a knock he had.
