and possibly labadee, haiti (our iteniary is: labadee, haiti/ocho rios, jamaica/georgetown, grand cayman/ and cozumel mexico, what is the best things to buy and where" liquor, art, DIAMONDS, EMERALDS!!!!, etc, also the best places to eat. we are traveling on royal carribean, mariner of the sea

I was on that cruise last May. Cozumel is actually the best and least expensive place to shop. Cozumel is great for affordable jewelry, and also art work. Actually you can get great local art in all the places. The Caymans was very expensive as far as shopping. Jamaica seemed to be pretty cheap as far as liquor, good 2 for 1 deals. Labadee is mainly a beach area, its a small part of Haiti that belongs to the cruise line and doesn't have much there besides various beaches and a small artisan market. In the market they are very aggressive so make sure you can handle it and make sure you bargain.
