We are going in costa brava in September can someone tell me how is the weather?

Costa Brava is in Catalonia, Spain.  Did you intend to say Costa Rica?  In Costa Rica, from May to November you can expect rain, rain, rain and more rain.  It starts to rain around noon and stops around 6 or 7 pm.  It doesn't rain non-stop, and it doesn't rain every single day, but it does rain a lot.

However, the mornings are warm and sunny and it is hard to believe that it is actually going to rain later that day.
