We need to find a hotel that will put us up the night before the sailing, let us park our car in a secure area, and also shuttle us to the ship before and after the cruise. I thinks they call it the sail and park package. Which hotels do it near that cruise terminal?

  1. stayed at that best western mentioned..they left part of our party at the carnival terminal for 4 hours..and one of our party had there car broke into..hotel is ok if your leaving from San Pedro ..but the travel lodge in long Beach is not bad for the price.. if you are driving to your cruise park at the pier..safer and way faster and much easier when the cruise is done to get in your car and go..cost about 10.00 or 12.00 a day .pay with visa master ect..

  2. If you google park and cruise you will get a list of the places that do this in every area of a cruise port. Have a great time!

  3. We've done the Mexican Riviera cruise with NCL 3 times a year for the last several years out of LA.  You can either contact a hotel directly and see if they have a stay and park program, or else call the cruise line.  Often times the cruise line gets nice hotels at a much lower rate.  Most of the hotels near the port have a shuttle and park program.  I'm going again this Dec.  It's a blast!  Have fun.

  4. If you are going out of the Long Beach cruise terminal this is for you.  We did the Mexican Rivera cruise a couple years ago and we stayed at a Best Western that is directly across the street from the port.  The hotel was OK, but not the best in the area.  The hotel also allows guests to park there (don't know what the fee is if any) for  cruises.  The hotel has a free shuttle to the port.   I was actually pissed that we returned from dinner one evening (we stayed there 2 nights) and the lot was full of cars of people who had departed on a cruise that day.  If I had it to do again I would have stayed in the Sheraton Hotel which is just a block further away and I think also has a free shuttle to the port.

Your other option is to stay somewhere nearby, like maybe an hour or two away, and then just drive and park at the port.  Check out this web site:

    http://www.sanpedro.com/spcom/crusshp2.h...

It has the parking rates, directions to the port and other info you may need.

  5. OMG!  Sounds like we might be on the same cruise.  I would talk to a travel agent.  They know all the ins and outs of stuff like this, and it is easier than having to do all the research yourself.
