and ending at Buenos Aires, Argentina. Will it be Spring down there then? I assume that it will be cold while going around the tip of South America because it is so close to the South Pole. Is that right?

  1. The Southern summer starts in December, so it shouldn't be as cold as winter, but you will probably get a lot of rain (something that usually happens in that region when the seasons are changing).

  2. In November, the daily temperatures in Santiago are: minimum of 9o C, and maximum of 26o C.

Ushuaia: (in the tip of South America):

    minimum: 9o C

    maximum: 12o C

    Buenos Aires:

    minimum: 17 oC

    maximum: 23 oC

  3. You are going to have a fabulous time!  I was in Santiago last November and it was quite warm and lovely.  However, I was also in Patagonia and it was freezing!  Definitely pack many layers.  I would suggest investing in some good base layers of Capalene or long underwear as well as a good jacket or fleece.  Don't bring too many warm things, though because you'll be cooking in Buenos Aires, too!

    Bon Voyage!

  4. That sounds right to me but I really dont know. I wanted to say that sounds like a really great cruise!!!  Have fun.

  5. yes, if you go to santiago the  time will be warm but the south is very cold,

Las Torres del Paine  or Puerto Monnt are very beautiful places

you should take a sheltered jacket

    take care and enjoy chile
