If you are traveling in the Caribbean I recommend that you better wait until you disembark and then try to buy an excursion on the island.  These are cheaper and are the same as offered in the ship.  Try to get people with proper identification.  They will be very nice, since they are locals, and they take you wherever you want and even wait for you. They also are very aware of the time so you can go to the ship again on time.  If visiting ST. Marteen, try a guy named Captain Hook, everybody knows him by that name.  He is a wonderful person, and very honest. He owns a big bus.  I have visited St. Marteen for three times now and I always look for him.
