We are going to Australia for the first time. ?

We would like to know about what could be taken & wt not? for eg) can we take albums,cd,cosmetics,utensils,hair dye's etc...

Yes you can but make sure that you declare food or seeds or things made of wood or any plant material.They're very strict on that because they don't want any diseases brought into Australia.

Check with the airline your travelling with, they know all about the stuff. Also your probably gonna visit Sydney and Melbourne and I just want you to know that there is a lot more to Aust the just those two cities. They would have to be the two biggest and ugliest cities in Australia so try and get around and visit more places.

Dont bring foods, like fruits and what not.

You can bring cds, as long as their not made on your computer on a blank cd..

You can bring utensils, but we have them here and you can get them cheaply, so why bother?

We have hair dye aswell, but yeah..

If you bring any organic matter, you will need to declare it as micro-organisms can mess with the ecosystem...other than that. all the normal stuff is ok to bring.
