  1. Holguin is wonderful.  I've ben to  Cuba 9 times, Varadero, Cayo Coco and Cienfuegos and Sol Rio Luna y Mares Holguin  is my favorite (4 times),  Check out the links below.  No matter where you go you'll have a great time.

  2. ive only been to varadero, but loved it.

it was awesome, next time i go back it would definately be to varadero once more.

i stayed at barcelo solymar, it was really good, all inclusive, 24 hour bars, excellent beach area, perfect.

    Edit...

The guy under me says to take a look at havana.

i went with a group of people and a whole bunch of them took the day trip into havana, some liked it some didnt.

theres alot of poverty, but also alot of historical stuff.

you have to be the kind of person thats into that kind of stuff to make it worth your while

  3. i went to varadero, closest to havana

so beautiful, and more entertainment along with the relaxing stuff like the sun, beach, etc

i stayed at brisas del caribe

    4 stars, but amazing

i saw the other hotels, they all looked DEAD and so i heard they all were..

let me tell you brisas was very alive.

always a party during the night, and always relaxing and friendly during the day

  4. Varadero is great if you love the beach , the sun , the fun....

But thake in consideration that Cuba is much more than beaches and sun , I recommend a visit to Havana to see the Old city, the vintage cars on the streets, the food markets, the local bars, the nightlife, museums etc. and btw Havana has nice beaches too , read more http:www.havana-guide.com

  5. If you like history, visiting museums, castles, convents, churches, palaces, go to Habana.  If you just want to go to a beautiful beach, go to Varadero.  In this place you will find lots of hotels restaurants and bars and lots of activities.  Varadero one of the biggest beach resorts of Cuba,  I would say the biggest one. It is very close to La Habana.  Best luck.

  6. hey mate:

it depends on what u r looking for. If u r looking for relaxation and peaceful tourist spots any of the ones u mentioned is fine. But if u love something different, I would recommend you to go to Havana, there's nothing like it in the world, if u go, u'll see what I mean. That's my hometown

    Cheer,

    Have fun.
