  1. False.  Was just on Coz Feb 2-9th; stayed at the Palace and right across the street from it is Chedraui market, Mexico's answer to Wal-Mart; although I did not NEED disposable diapers (my youngest is 19) I did see them there.  Interesting place to wander through.  Like WalMart, Sears, and open air meat market all in one...

On the other hand, they may cost more (I did not notice the price) and you could always bring a suitcase full from home and then use the suitcase to bring back all your souveniers!

    ;)

  2. no, it is not true.

  3. Nappies available in major stores. All paper products are more expensive in Mexico thats why we shop in the US for them.

  4. are you incontinent?

  5. No, it's rubbish.

I have been to Cozumel hundreds of times (I used to work on cruise ships), it is very Americanized as far as the rest of Mexico goes.  There are a number of supermarkets where you can get nappies and even pay in dollars.

Anything you need you can get there.

Get a babysitter though and have a great time in Carlos & Charlie's....you'll see!
