  2. Munich was rated no. 3 in the best cities to live in worldwide. You will see... it is a little more expensive the most German cities, but well worth it and compared to the grocery prices in the US, cheap! There are stores called Lidl, Aldi and Norman and the food there is not only very good, because of the quantity they sell, very cheap! Munich overall has so much to offer, it is a very clean and safe city, not too big  but still big enough to be a real urban place with tons of culture, shopping, world class restaurants, children entertainment (museums for kids, parks, playgrounds, puppet theaters etc etc) and my favorite thing about Munich is the closeness to Italy, Austria and Switzerland.

You can go there within a couple of hours and be in a different world!

Well, you made me homesick now, i think i have to move back, i am in the US now, but honestly, this is boring compared to Europe and Munich where i grew up.

  3. Munich is great city. By the way nice ZOO there. Parks, museums, cafes, shopping is great, nice buildings, just everything expensive. I think this is the one expensive cities in Germany. Don't worry about your 1yr old kid, he/she will be fine.

    Good Luck.
