I've never had a pool table delivered, so I am unsure of what to do in this situation. Thanks!

  1. you don't have to tip them at all, it is your choice in the matter. It's not like they will take the table back if you don't tip them or anything. But if you want to do it just to be nice a ten spot should suffice, since they are already getting paid by the company to deliver the table in the first place.

  2. You might think about whether you will be having the same company re-felt in a year or two. A pool table is a heavy piece of furniture, and it takes skill to set it up correctly. So, I might think of how much this table costs and tip as much as $50 to each mover/setup person. But, it is up to you. There is no hard and fast rule.

  3. You don't have to tip them anything but I go by how long they are there installing and how good a job they do. Make sure you check for a true balanced table,in other words make sure the balls go straight when hit. A proper tip is 20 dollars an hour,it usually takes about 2 to 3 hours.

  4. The only time tipping is really required is if you are going to be using the same service more than once.  Always tip well at a restaurant, since you  might go back, or your waiter might end up moving to a different one, which you may go to later.  Same on pizza delivery.  How many times will you have a pool table delivered?  If you are making a pool hall, TIP.  If you are having one put together in your own house, don't bother.  They are being paid already.

  5. i would say 15.00-20.00 each depending on hoe big it is and hoe long they stay and offer them a drink.

                               hope this helped!

  6. No tip required or called for by any means.

The cost of delivery, table purchase, and assembly, are ALL included in your bill ---and THEN some ----believe me!

To show your appreciation, ask for their personal business cards and express your gratitude to them for their labor and service. Tell them that you look forward to doing business with them in the future, as well as referring others to their company for their great products and service.
