  1. My girl friends have loved the new pink liqueur X-Rated. It tastes like grapefruit.

I buy fabric at JoAnn's or Michael's when it's on sale for $5 or so a yard - brocades or organza in hot pink colors. Two or three yards can cover a dining table (depending on the size of your table). All you have to do is cut the edges with pinking shears so they don't unravel. You also can get inexpensive hot pink sheer curtains at IKEA sometimes (don't know if you have one near you) for $6 or so. I just drape them somewhere in the room or tie them to the ceiling to really pink up a room.

Appetizers: Do you know how to make sushi? Tuna is red but could look hot pink. Or for veggie sushi rolls (cucumber, carrots and avocado), you can get pink sushi wrappers on eBay:

Beverages: Add sparkling water or club soda to grapefruit juice for a refreshing non-alcoholic beverage. You could sneak a little Squirt in there in case it tastes watered down. Garnish with fresh grapefruit slices.

Entree: Hrm, this is a hard one. Pasta made with pink food coloring in the water? But then you couldn't use a tomato sauce on top of it.. an alfredo sauce to let the color shine through maybe? I'd test this before serving in case it looks gross.

Dessert: Strawberry ice cream for dessert.. garnished with fresh strawberries of course. Or pink cupcakes.

  2. Theme: Victoria's Secret

Make sure it is appropriate all until they get inside. Something rated PG-13? Try

Theme: Mommy's Gone Wild: teenager outfits

    Food: cupcakes with pink frosting

               ronzoni pasta

               cheese doodles

               crabs

               shrimp in cocktails

               shirley temples with rum

  3. Well Ok assuming the ladies are all over 21, then start with perhaps pink champagne. If the tome is rock and roll, the band Pink is a good one, foodwise well that is a little harder but strawberry salad with pink tomatoes is nice, maybe a nice quiche to go with it using a few drops of foosd coloring and a nice raspberry cheesecake using the berries to color it. That otta be enough pink.

  4. I have a great punch.  kiwi strawberry crystal light with sprite.   If you want it to have alcohol then just had some rum.

  5. If you're over 21, then you'd like to serve PINK SQUIRRELS or PINK CADILLACS .....cotton candy ... pink & white Jordan almonds or jelly bellies ....  Water crackers with strawberry cream cheese ....  WHITE chocolate covered strawberries .... Strawberry shortcake or pie (Walmart carries Strawberry Angel Food Cake, and you can get Strawberry Cool Whip - use sliced strawberries)  ....

  6. A TASTE OF PINK

Decorations: Hang pink paper lanterns in different sizes and lengths (I would mix in another color).

    Centerpieces: http://www.instyleweddings.com/weddings/...

Cake stand idea: Hot pink plastic plates hot glued to sturdy hot pink paper cups turned upside down. It should have two levels. The bottom a dinner size plate and the top plate salad size. Around the edge of each plate glue ribbon or a boa.

    Pink Cake Balls

1 box cake mix (cook as directed)

    1 can cream cheese frosting

1 package chocolate bark (regular or white chocolate)

    wax paper

After cake is cooked and cooled completely, crumble into large bowl. Mix thoroughly with 1 can cream cheese frosting. (It may be easier to use fingers to mix together, but be warned it will get messy.) Roll mixture into quarter size balls and lay on cookie sheet. (Should make 45-50. You can get even more if you use a mini ice cream scooper, but I like to hand roll them.) Chill for several hours. (speed this by putting in the freezer.) Melt chocolate in microwave per directions on package. Roll balls in chocolate and lay on wax paper until firm. Place on your cake plate stand.

    Cosmopolitans

1.5 oz citron or raspberry vodka

    .5 oz fresh lime juice

    .5 oz Triple Sec

    1 ounce cranberry juice

    1. Chill a 6-ounce cocktail glass.

    2. Fill a cocktail shaker with the ice and add the citron or raspberry vodka, lime juice, Triple Sec, and cranberry juice. Shake vigorously to blend and chill.

    3. Strain the mixture into the chilled glass

Drop a raspberry into your ice cube trays and fill. Place ice cubes in a glass of Pink Lemonade.

    Pink Fluff

    1 can cherry pie filling

    1 can sweetened condensed milk

    1 can mandarin oranges, drained

    1 can crushed pineapple

    1 cup shredded coconut

    2 cups miniature marshmallows

    1 frozen whipped topping, thawed

Mix together the cherry pie filling, condensed milk, oranges, pineapple, coconut, marshmallows and whipped topping.

Chill for several hours and top with crushed pecans if desired.

    PENNE WITH PINK BACON SAUCE

    1 lb penne pasta

1 lg jar Ragu spaghetti sauce

    1/2 lb bacon

1/2 to 1 cup heavy cream

    1 tsp. red pepper flakes

Cut raw bacon into small (1/4 to 1/2") pieces. Cook in large fry or saute pan until cooked, being sure not to overcook the bacon. Add spaghetti sauce and red pepper flakes to the pan with the bacon. Stir, reduce heat to low and simmer for about 15 minutes to allow the flavors to blend. Meanwhile, prepare pasta according to package directions. Drain. Add 1/2 cup of heavy cream to the sauce and stir. Add more cream to taste. Sauce should be thick and pink. Top pasta with sauce and serve!

    Crab Stuffed Cucumbers

1/2 cup shredded crabmeat (about 2 ounces)

1/4 cup chopped green onion (white and green parts)

    3 tablespoons light sour cream

    3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

2 tablespoons finely chopped red bell pepper

1 tablespoon finely chopped pink pickled ginger slices*

1 English cucumber, cut into 3/4-inch-thick slices

    Fresh cilantro sprigs

*Pink pickled ginger slices are available at Asian markets and also at some specialty foods stores.

Combine first 6 ingredients in medium bowl. Season to taste with salt and pepper. (Can be prepared up to 6 hours ahead. Cover and refrigerate.) Using small melon baller, scoop out centers of cucumber leaving bottom shell intact. Fill centers and slightly mound crab mixture atop cucumber. Garnish each with cilantro sprig. Transfer to platter and serve.

The pink ribbon is an internationally recognized symbol of hope and awareness in the fight against breast cancer. You can hand out pink ribbons to acknowledge this.

  7. I would say shrimp for dinner. Slice a sweet onion really thin, marinate in beet juice (from canned beets), red wine vinegar, salt, pepper and olive oil.  The onions will turn a pretty pink color and you can serve them over a mesculin mix, it's very good.   You can have pink frosted cupcakes for dessert. For a favor to commemorate the night, you can do pretzel rods dipped in pink chocolate (find at a craft store), package in cellophane bags and tie with a pink ribbon.

  8. Serve Shirley Temples drinks.  They are pink.

  9. The chopped beets in this salad turn the whole salad light pink. Skip the ingredients you don't like.

    Shred or chop:

8 oz celery root (or slice up 2 celery stalks)

    1 large white turnip

    1 small red beet

    1 small carrot

    Chop into 1/4 inch cubes:

    4 medium radishes

    3 medium new potatoes

    1/3 cup thawed frozen peas

    For the dressing, chop:

    2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

    1 tsp chopped fresh chives

    Mix with:

    1/4 c sour cream

    1/2 c mayonnaise

    1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

    1/2 tsp cider vinegar

    1/4 tsp dry mustard

    1 tsp prepared horseradish

Mix the vegetables and dressing. Refrigerate for an hour.

Vodka cream sauce is also pinky/orangey, and it's great over pasta.

I'm trying to think of hearty stuff...You could do a roast beef salad. (It's sort of pink in the middle!) Ask for 1.5 lbs roast beef sliced thin. Cut it into strips, and mix with 1) a little sour cream, mayonnaise, chopped celery, or 2) olive oil, vinegar, Dijon mustard, chopped celery. Grind a little crushed pink pepper over it.

  10. Oh what fun!!

I am thinking pink Polk a dots.

    http://www.partysolver.com/99775.html

    Gift favors

    http://www.4showers.com/Store/PinkPolkaD...

Pink flowers to freshen up the room along with some great smelling pink candles

    To eat and drink........

    Pink champagne of course

Then I would go with food that is round to go with the dot theme.  Little pink frosted cookies, small tarts, mini fruit pizza with a cherry or strawberry on top, small pink candy, etc.
