The opener cracked an unbeaten knock of 97 during the 3rd day of play.
Taufeeq, who seems pleased with his effort, certainty pushed Pakistan to put pressure on the Caribbean team.
The opener is hoping that team Pakistan will be able to seal the triumph to level the series, thanks to his brilliant knock.
"We are in the driving seat right now," he said.

"It was a tough period for me but I never gave up. I was always focused on my cricket," he said.
Taufeeq clarified; “I never gave up. I was always thinking I have to come back."
