All the preliminary matches are over and we selected the top three clubs from each pool. Now we have to select one more club to conduct the semi final. In the beginning of the tournament we decided to select the team with run highest run rate. But, the problem is that in one of the pool, one team didn’t show up for the tournament and we gave walkover for the rest of the teams. Therefore, we cannot select the third team from this pool/group.

Any rules can be applied to select the fourth club from all the three groups to go to the semi final.

Help Please.

  3. is all three teams at second have the same point- 4 or 6???

if it's so net run rate will be the best option!

if the team which one a single match and got a walk over, has the highest run rate, they are lucky! that's it!!!

u have got a rule for ur tournament and as far as u follows it nobody can question u!

  4. get the team with best NRR
