  1. HAVE FUN!!! ok start packing about 3 days early!!! Make sure you have plenty of everything!! If you baby isn't potty trained yet put in LOTS of diapers!! make sure to bring lots of snacks and games for you an the baby!!!! Bring lots of fun stuff for the beach too!!! Make sure not to pack the same old snacks!! maybe a little something different.  Pack lots of clothes and weather appropriate items!!! ( Just in case) Make sure to make it fun for you and the baby!!!!

    Remember to have fun!!!

  2. I always write a list for everything I think I will need.  I start with the stuff I use everyday.  You will want lot's of snacks, and toys for your little one, and a cooler close by milk/drinks, and meals on the go.

Don't forget sunscreen, hat, swimsuit, beach toys etc...  Oh, and diapers!  :)

Don't stress too much about it or you won't enjoy your vacation.  If you have the basics that you need, you will be able to cope and survive if you have forgotten something.

You may also want to bring things like, thermometer, tylenol, nail clippers, and bath soaps etc.  the things you may not use everyday.

    Have a great holiday!!!

  3. I had 4 babies in 5 yrs. and they never stopped us from traveling 600 miles each summer.  To occupy baby in the car I would find hand held toys to which they could make things move and turn, something that they could hold to keep them busy while sitting.  Sometimes I would find little toys like this at the dollar store and wrap them up and after a few hours of sitting nice I would reward them with something.  After traveling so many miles you can always stop off at a rest area and play for a few minutes or go on an adventure and look at the trees and flowers.  Then jump back into the car for another 100 miles and when boredom hits jump out of the car and go exploring. Your baby will be just fine.  Enjoy your trip!!

  4. Make a list of everything you need and check it off as you pack it.  Make sure you bring bathing suits, a lot of sunblock, sand toys, and a sun hat for your child, extra clothing and of course you are going to need diapers, wet ones, snacks, drinks, toys for your child to play with in the car, his or her favorite stuffed animal or blanket, a portable dvd player, kids music, camera and all your clothing.  Have fun.
