We are leaving on a Alaskan cruise in a couple of weeks..yeah!?

We have never been on the Holland Ship..is it nice? Anyone been on the seven day cruise to Alaska on Holland?

We have been on 4 cruises so far. 3 of which with Carnival, and one with Princess. During the cruises, you definitely talk with other passengers, many of which have gone with different cruise lines. I'm told that Holland America is a little more upscale. I'm also told they use Royal Albert china in the dining rooms. While boarding the Carnival Spirit 15 months ago in San Diego, we were docked next to the Oosterdam, which looked like a very nice ship. It was bound for Hawaii. We did the Mexican Riviera.

I did that cruise with Holland America

Amazing, I promise. You'll have a great time. It depends what ship you'll be on with how many extra activities or rooms they'll have on board, but Holland America is my favorite cruise line. I did two HA cruises, one on the Amsterdam, and one on the Rotterdam (they're practically identical) but I've heard the other ships are great!

I've also done Princess (a close second) and Royal Caribbean (very fun, but far too crowded)

My parents went on a Holland Ship to Alaska and said it was absolutely breathtaking. They said the ship was extremely nice and that the service was impeccable.
