  1. Any around the city but be careful like any other city Paris has its share of thieves

  2. go to www.frommers.com.

  3. I always use www.tripadvisor.com when picking a hotel. We are going to Paris the end of September for the first time.  After a lot of research we chose the Hotel Motte Picquet.  Of 1762 hotels in Paris, it is ranked #26. Check it out on tripadvisor:

If you decide to stay here, you will get the best rate through their web site:

  4. It depends on your budget...but if you can, please look at the Hotel Lutetia...on the Left Bank, not far from The Musee D'Orsay, and only a short walk across the Seine to the Place de la Concorde.

Why the Lutetia? It is an Art Deco hotel, and is fabulous!  It was considered so plush in its time that when the n***s occupied Paris, they used it as their headquarters.  But, there are no associations with those dark days now!  Attached to the hotel is one of the finest Parisian fish brasseries...and you'll love it!

If you found that too expensive there are some really good 3 star places.  And I stayed in a really good family run place near the Folies Bergere.

Have a lovely time in Paris, and you know, I love the place so much I would settle for a park bench under the Tower...lol

  5. Years ago I stayed a this three star hotel: Hotel Delambre.  Check out the website.  It was decent and stay in the interior part of the hotel to reduce noise to a minimum.  It is just enough room for one person or couple.  Have a wonderful and safe time and Happy 1st Year Anniversaire!!

  6. The Hotel Left Bank Saint Germain at 9, rue de l'Ancienne Comédie in the 6th arrondissement might be what you are looking for. Its a charming little hotel and also very elegant with high standards of service and quite a romantic look.

Its situated in the very lively St, Germain district and within easy walking distance of many tourist attractions.
