  1. Maybe have a page where the other kids say good things about that person.

Make a picture chart of who they sit next to at circle.....write down your favorite memories of things the kids brought in for show in tell...something like Best pet,  most creative...things like that.

Write favorite books and who wrote them....then add comments...like some liked the muddle puddle one....but some liked the pet parade book...things like that.

A funny thing to have is write up favorite things you cooked...or that you have for lunch and have children tell you how to cook it....they come up with very creative ways to bake a cake.

  2. put group pics

let them have their own pages with their names bdays fave foods ect

    drawings of themselfs

  3. memory's,pics, colorful pages, best work of the year, favorite song, the funnest thing they did and or learned through out the yearand the class clown smartes pearson best smile logest hair ect.

  4. I think that you should include the first day of school pictures and many More special memories like playing with friends, also try letting them add there on special touch like having them draw something and fun activities you all did throughout the year.

  5. I did these for my sons class.  They were scrapbooks of mostly photographs.

    The pages ended up being:

The obvious events in chronological order.  Such as:

         -- First Day of School

-- Trips, Parties,  & Special Events in chronological order (Pumpkin Patch, Halloween Party, Magican Visit, Christmas Program, Dads & Donuts, Muffins & Moms etc.)

-- I Am Special (for when they were star student)

Then I also did pages titled:

Me & My friends (candids of kids w/ their friends)

Look at me Learn (candids of kids engaged in an activity)

My School (pictures of the school, staff, etc.)

I also did a title page, but left it blank, for granduation and end-of-year picnic.

You could easily include writing samples, drawings, etc.

I started by going in chronological order for the obvious events, then looked at what is left and sorted them in a way that made sense.

Good Luck - I hope this helps.

  6. I'm working on trying to do this (I have a question on here about it), and I want to do an A-Z scrapbook.

So far, I've come up with "F is for Friends", "G is for Graduation" (preschool graduation ceremony), "Q is for Quiet" (a picture of the kids finally down at naptime), "Z is for Zoo" (field trip photos)

  7. pictures of all the kids

page of what each kid wants to be when he/she grows up

page of favorites for the kids (foods, colors, movies, songs, etc.)

    graduation pics?

    kids' drawings

    handprints

BABY pics!! these are always fun!

    group photos

  8. Yeah, show each child doing a skill he learned in your class.  Like take a photo a child who is half-way thru writing his name.  Just the way he holds the pencil will make the child smile as he grows up and looks back at the photo.

Snap a photo of  kids who are best buddies together doing something they have enjoyed doing together all year long in a photo for just their memory books.

Did you have them grow their own plant?  Snap a photo of a child standing next to his very own plant that he took care of.

What did each child love?  Place him in that spot and take his photo.  Did a kid love art most?  Put in in the art center doing whatever he loved the most, coloring, pasting, scissoring, etc. and snap his photo.

The idea is to give each kid an idea of what he was like at this age.  Whatever he did that set him apart.

  9. My son just finished his first year in pre-school and was given a year book.  It included a class standard picture and collages representing different events throughout the year.

  10. If you kept any beginning of the year data, it is always fun to compare to the end of the year, such as height, tooth or toothless smiles, artwork, etc.   Photos taken throughout the year are also useful.  Good luck!

  11. The one my son just got was the formal fall pic done forst week of school with his height weight and his handprint done in paint. The next one was now I am this big with a recent pic height weight and a new handprint of hand at the end of the yr. She did this with everything they did such as shapes colors counting letter recognition. Its really neat. I even got pages showing his drawing/coloring and cutting skills progressing.

  12. Do you mean, any ideas what to include on the pages?

Well, of course photos is a must. Quotes from children and staff.....

  13. All the kids in the class the field trips and activites they have done and what they have learned.
