We are not intimidated by England pacers' height, reckons Mahendra Singh Dhoni - Cricket News Update
Indian skipper, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/MS-Dhoni-c2028, clarified that the Men in Blue are prepared for the gangly English bowling attack. Dhoni reckoned that the Indian cricket team is not intimidated by the height of English pacers.
Mahi, the 30-year-old cricketer, states that not much has changed, as the current bowling attack of Poms is practically the same as it was when they last toured the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 in 2007.
Dhoni said, “Their fast bowling attack is pretty similar (as in 2007). They had (Chris) Tremlett, (James) Anderson and (Ryan) Sidebottom who all are very tall. It's not a big factor.”
Sidebottom will not be part of English bowling brigade this time around, as the left-arm pacer has retired from International cricket; while http://www.senore.com/Cricket/TT-Bresnan-c2711 will play their first home series against India.
Bresnan is the shortest bowler of the lot and he stands in at 6 ft, followed by Anderson who is 6 ft 2 inches. Broad and Tremlett on the other hand, stand up at 6 ft 5 inches and 6 ft 7 inches respectively.
The build-up to England and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 series is huge; all eyes are on the touring side as it is a great chance for them to prove their dominance in both ODI and Test format of the game.
The first game of the four-match Test series will be played at Lord’s cricket ground on Thursday, July 21, 2011.

The wicket-keeper batsman however, declared that it is not easy to please everyone back at home as they have attached very high expectations from Team India.
Dhoni acknowledging his team’s efforts said, “In the last 4-5 years, what we wanted was to enjoy the game and situation. Every conditions is different, every country is challenging. As long as you look to improve as a cricketer, learn to enjoy the game more
and not take it as pressure, it would be alright. The expectation with Indian cricket is pretty high it's not easy to satisfy 1.2 billion people.”
There will be three day rest for both sides after the conclusion of first game, before the second match begins at Trent Bridge from Friday, July 29, 2011.
