  1. Keep in mind that the government is not always going to work nor operate at a speed that you want them to and things are going to run on a later schedule. Try calling them to talk with someone direct to better inform you if what is going on.

  2. If you didn't have any earned income, you probably won't get a rebate.

  3. my mother is on social security and she got a her rebate last week.

You might want to call the IRS to track it. But if you filed, you are due one.

  4. If SS is you only income it is highly unlikely that you would have a "refund" as you did not have any withholding.  If your SS was greater than $3,000 you should get $300 each from the stimulus rebate program.

  5. If you corrected whatever was wrong and sent them back, you will get your $600 stimulus payment total for the two of you.  It'll be delayed though due to having to resubmit the forms.

  6. If you're on Social Security Retirment or Disability you will get a rebate -- IF you file the information they need correctly and you got $3000 in income in 2007.

If you are recieving Supplemental Security Income only you will NOT get a rebate.

Social Security Retirment and Disability are both taxable sources of income, so you're eligible. Supplemental Security Income (SSI) is not taxable, so you're not eligible.

  7. You evidently did not fill them out correctly.  What did they say about why they must be re-filed?  You can call and ask them all kinds of questions but you should wait until you recieve an answer to your application.  Dont get in a hurry for U R working with bureacrats...
