  1. I don't know the name of it but I have the same problem from time to time. I spray the leaves with Round Up and it kills it and the roots.

  2. This could possibly be English Ivy. The leaf shape looks just like it but yours is very light in color.

  3. I agree with Shade, it is much like one of many varieties of wild grape vines.

Open link and see all of the varieties and leaves of different appearance.

  4. you'd have to have the pic online and post a link to it here.... someplace like Flikr, Photobucket, Yahoo, Webshots, Shutterfly, Snapfish, etc.... ...

  5. It looks like you have yourself a wild grape vine. They will get massive if you don't get rid of it. The other option is to cultivate it on a trellis or other strong support system. I have seen these vines grow to the top of an 80 foot tree with a vine 6 inches in diameter. Cut it out at the base and use Round-up Herbicide to kill it if you wish. There are various species of wild grapes with slightly different looks to the leaves, but you definetly have a wild grape on your hands. If you live in the south it may be a Muscadine Vine which is just a species of Wild grape that grows in the south.

See the picture below of the vine. If you scroll down you will see a man hugging a huge vine.
