We are planning a trip to Niagara falls in July has anyone been there and did you enjoy it?

Yes, I've been twice and loved it both times. I love Canada and have travelled all over Canada on several occasions.

Its a good stop if its not to far out of your way.I didn't see it as being a day long activity.there is free parking before you get to the gatehouse also take a raincoat the wind can create a mist.   My experience is from the American side.

We went a few years back. It was wonderful. WE prepaid for a tour package of both the American and Canada side which also include our room. We Also went to the casino one night on the American side and spent several hours. Took $50 came out with $86.00. Drinks were free and believe me we had a ball. Next night we went to Canada to the Casino where it cost for everything, least to say lost $86. and drinks or a glass of beer cost $4. Went back to American side and went out dining and dancing. It was wonderful. Would love to go again. There are also different attractions on both sides which some are included in packages. My advice get a package deal. Just remember to take picture ids or you won't be able to go over into Canada. Less costly this way, you can see more, and less walking or driving and trying to find a place to park. We went in July too over our anniversary!

been there many times....try riding in the Maid of the Mist, an unforgetable experience.  

I prefer the Canadian side to the American side.  If you can afford it, suggest hotel overlooking the falls, views are awesome!
