We are a couple settled in HK. University graduates from an unpopular Asian university. We have worked few years in Hong Kong and China and have experience in Marketing and Sales and we are good in English (spoken and written). With these qualifications, what kind of pay scale should we expect?

What are the living costs in Canada (like house/room rent, food and travelling expenses) ?

  1. It is difficult to say what your pay scale would be, but most likely you can find good employment.  Here is the link to the Canadian immigration site.  Spend some time browsing through it to decide which route to immigration is the best one for you to follow.  If you want to immigrate to Canada you should start the process, because it takes some time, possibly even years.  Canada is a great country to live in, and I believe the cost of living is less than in Hong Kong in some ways.  Housing is most expensive in Vancouver and Toronto, but those two cities also offer the most and best opportunities.  Best of luck with your plans.

  2. Wonderful Country-- Canada!  -Yes you will pay about ten percent more cost of living than in U.S.

Now is a good time to settle there,  Vancouver or Toronto would be good for jobs - with your experience. Vancouver -rain but overall warmer.  Toronto - big city but better climate.

Great people - great food there!  - Pay - more than adequate to get ahead!    -------All the best to you.

  3. i dont really know about the cost and stuff but right now its getting warm so its a nice time to come.
