  1. I've gone on 8 cruises over christmas before and the weather has been fabulous in the caribbean - mexico area We always go on our cruises during this time because it's not super hot and it has only rained once or twice at the ports in all my time going on december cruises. The weather has always been nice for us!

    Hope this helps!

  2. It is a great time to go. You can find some of the cheapest cruise fares at that time. Just not around the holidays. I have several clients that are cruising at that time and all at great rates.

  3. Yes that is a good time to go. There wont be any hurricanes, they end in November. The weather will be very nice. The only thing is that alot of people go in December so it might be more crowded & expensive. Enjoy :)

  4. Hurricane Season for the Atlantic for 2008 is form May 31st to November 30th.  So no problem with hurricanes may need to research standard storm activity levels,  the link below you can check rain fall to get a vague reference if you can't find anything else.

Goto www.weather.com and enter a city destination, then click on the averages button or the Records & Averages text link and it will show average temperatures and average rainfall so you can be prepared for what to bring as far as clothes.  Though I went to Cozumel in May (low average is 74° F), out in the open sea at night even in May it was chilly because of the wind.  So wish I would have brought a couple long sleeve shirts for the evenings. you may need a light jacket in December.  But check temps where your going and make a decision.
