We are planning to visit Swiss for 3 days during late August?

We need a tour plan for 3 to 4 days in Swiss. We prefer to drive in Swiss. Please suggest a good place to stay and places to visit.

see...for 3-4 day trip...you should explore Interlaken and Luzern or if you're very cosmopolitan types...yo can visit Geneva and Montreux...

According to me you should go for Interlaken and Luzern trip coz you'll have great fun driving from Interlaken to Luzern(vice-versa)...i have visited these two towns and hired a car myself and it was beautiful...i suggest you spend 2 days each town ... for a good place to stay ..hmmm... that depends on how much you wanna spend on your accomodation...

In Interlaken...you can either opt for Hotel Splendid on the Hoheweg street which is quite cheap...about 260 swiss francs(per night per room)...or if you wanna go in for something pretty good then Hotel Metropole (just adjacent to Hotel Splendid)will cost you about 320 Swiss francs(per night per room)....if you want to go in for something very royal then Victoria Jungfrau or Lindner Beau Rivage are highly recommended ... they will cost you about 700 Swiss francs to 1200 swiss francs(per night per room)

In Luzern, Hotel Flora, on the Seidenhoffstrasse, is pretty good...i stayed there and it was not bad...it will cost you about 400-500 Swiss francs...if you want something cheaper then go in for NH Luzern Hotel on Friedenstrasse wich will be about 250-300 Swiss francs....

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you wish to visit Geneva and Montreux, always go in for a cruise along Lake Geneva from Montreux/ Geneva to Montreux/Geneva and then you can drive around their nearby areas...

In Geneva, if you want something really great..go in for Swissotel Metropole on Quai General Guisan ...it will cost you about 1500 swiss francs per night per room...if u want something less then go in for Hotel de Geneva on Place Isaac-Mercier street wich is 320 swiss francs ...per night per room...

In Montreux, if you want something very very good try Fairmont Le Montreux Palace on Grand Rue..it will cost you about 850 francs per night per room....if u want somethng cheaper then go in for Bon Port on Rue de Theatre...it will cost you about 250-300 swiss francs per night per room...

I have told you the prices for accomodation ... there maybe variations in prices because of some discount or something...i have told you the real approximate prices for every kind of hotel you want...

  

Hire a good car to drive in Switzerland...its great ....you'll enjoy even more on a convertible...
