  1. if its goin to be at a house go for  finger foods and things that arent to messy if your having it out doors then a bbq is a good idea. i have 2 sisters

the first b.s we went to cost co  and bought appitizers like party wings, chip's n dip, club sandwiches, fruit, etc.

2nd b.s we had a bbq and rented a jumper for the kids.   great idea if your having children attending

  2. First decide how many people you need to feed. Will it be a crowd of couples? or all guys or all girls? Indoors or outdoors? I am assuming it will be a mixed crowd. So, go with a simple menu. A main dish, which could be, pasta in a meat sauce, or a pizza, or fried chicken, or burgers on the grill, You know your friends, make what they like. a salad or vegetable plate, a fruit plate, and a cake. For drinks, Serve a big bowl of punch or sparkling drinks and a pot of coffee. Maybe some beer that is optional. Depends on your friends.

  3. if there are going

Tobe a lot of people you

    have 2 choices:

    make wraps

    pigs in a blanket

    quiche things like that

    or

    do some stake on the

    grill with shrimp

    chicken and rice

    and some potato salad

  4. We had a slad bar for one of my babyshowers. It was really simple...Buy really good mixed greens and then just put out a bunch of different add in's. Kind of like a salad bar at a restaurant. Don't forget to add in some protein like chicken or shrimp.

  5. Keep it simple. Serve finger sandwiches with a a macaroni salad, vegetable tray and some punch. Mixing Lime sorbet with sprite and ice cubes is delicious and looks great in a punch bowl. Good luck!

  6. Finger foods/appetizer style work best when I'm hosting baby or bridal showers.

    Easy items are:

    - Cheese balls with crackers (can buy premade at grocery store).

    - Small cookies (ladyfinger Keebler brand - storebought)

    - Small sandwiches

    - Vegetable tray with dip (can buy premade at grocery store).

    - Fruit tray with dip (can buy premade at grocery store)

    - Meatballs

    - Pigs in a blanket

    - Lil Smokies

    - Cake Squares

    - Mints & nuts

    - Cheese tray with pickles, olives, crackers

    Hope this helps!
