We are redoing our kitchen, I want stainless steel for my backsplash.

I would like flat sheets of brushed stainless steel.I have found stainless tiles, but the look I want is stark utilitarian. Like a professional kitchen.does anyone know where I can find large sheets of stainless steel.

Search your phone book for a metal supplier like Copper & Brass.  They have sheet stainless in 4'X8' and 4'X12' sheets.  This stuf is not cheep, but it is what you are looking for.  For an added fee they will probably cut it to size to fit your walls.  Be sure to measure very accurately.  Once it's cut it can't be made larger.
