We are staying a year in Europe?

We are thinking of renting an apartment in the center (Germany maybe?) and going to each country and visiting in detail. Or we might sign a short lease like 3 months if they have one and move around. Any advice would be appreciated! I will take where to visit (I know the basics) or where to eat or any useful information likebooks to buy. This is going to happen in about 3 years. We are planning this out in detail.

I would say maybe try some where in luxembourg or anywhere in the benelux area. Its pretty central and cheaper than germany luxembourg is also considered a tax free zone so fuel prices are lower. It seemed hotel prices where lower to while I was driving through. Its pretty easy to get around europe from there. And its a beautiful place! And yes theres a city in luxembourg called luxembourg :-)
