We are taking a vacation Aug 17 -22 to Mackinaw & Beaver Island.

Question

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of weather to expect that time of year. I need to know what kind of clothes to pack. Thanks

You're in for a real treat! I'm jealous.  Mackinaw is one of my favorite places to visit.  This time of year it's usually rather warm during the daytime but you'll probably need a sweatshirt or jacket for the ferry ride over and if you're going to be there after dark. Be sure to bring mosquito repellent and sunscreen.

Been both places many times. I would plan on very hot and dry weather. Cooler nights because of the water..
