Prices for rides? Any tips from people who go regularly? I'm sure anything will help. I have not been since before my six year old was born and going to a theme park with children is a completely different experience than going without children... it is way harder :)

  1. keep the kids close...and let them have fun:))

if they are adventurous...go on the cool rides you might even think could be a little exciting!

but cool games you could play with the whole family are under the roller coaster:the great white

this area has all the cool games for bout a buck.!

and taking a picture with shamoo is a must! the real one and the costume one!! lol kids think hes pretty awesome :))

just keep them entertained and you will do fine :))

  2. buy running shoes.

  3. take food for lunch and a wheal chair for you i get you out of the park.  smile

have a great time and get a set of pictures for each kid so they have a set when grown

  4. Who's great idea was that?!?! The only advice I have is to panhandle outside the park so you all have enough money for food and prizes... works for me every time!! And of course.. HAVE FUN!!!

  5. Tickets are generally very high about 40$ for adults and 30 for kids if I remember from when we went this winter break.  But they cover all the rides once you are inside.  You may want to do a search on discount tickets online you may be able to get a deal.   AAA and other groups offered discounts last time I went in December.   It is mostly shows and hands on activities but they do have rides and a playground for the little ones.  I did not go there because my kids are older.  But there are many areas where they have pools where you can touch animals such as rays (stinger removed of course)  My kids loved this.

If you bring cameras, cell phones, wallets or anything you do not want to get wet bring zip lock bags and put them inside them.  That way you will not have to worry about getting wet.  Because you will get wet on many attractions and it is so hot out there you will want to.  You want to have lots of fun and no worries.

Food is very expensive(expect to pay a minimum of 12$ a person to eat a simple meal) if money is tight as it is for many of us due to the gas crunch.  Consider bringing food in a cooler and leaving it in your car.  It is much more healthy than the junk they serve.  You can get a hand stamp as you leave and go back in the park after lunch.

  6. try getting a coupon code from themeparkcodes.com to save on tickets

  7. you could make your kids both wear a bright color, like yellow so that they are easy to find. make sure you are with them at all times and just use common sense because its going to be pretty crowded there and you dont want to lose eachother.

other than that, just have a great time! take a camera with you too.. i have pictures of me as a kid at seaworld and i love to look through those pictures. your kids will appreciate it too =]
