My fiance and i will be 19 year's old this oct. Our first child is due between Nov 25-29. We plan staying here 'till we get our bed and his old credit card paid off which together is a total of $1,850.00 and on top of that we pay his parents $400 a month for rent Because they do a lot for us. We currently need a car so as of right now his step-dad is taking us back and forth to work, his mother don't drive so he take's her too, and he is on disability. After we pay off our bills which should be around sept-oct. We plan on getting a car and saving up for a place. We found one trailor park that cost's $300 a month for lot rent which covers space/sewer/trash/and water. There was one trailor for $7000 but somebody else was looking at it and basicly they are going to get it before us, and we saw a couple more place's empty but don't know the price. Of course these place's need work done but it's a start. And it get's us out of here. so does anyone have advice about what to do or not to do?

  1. I hope everything works out for you. It is really hard to get ahead today, and so easy to get behind. Your plan sounds good and I think you have put a lot of thought into it. You are doing the right thing on getting rid of debt.

This may sound strange to you, but think about it. There are a lot of homes on the market, a lot of them are owned by the banks, and they don't want them. There are a lot of good deals out there that may be better than the trailer. The trailer will still cost you a lot of money in the end. Don't be afraid to talk to the bank or to a realtor about getting a house.pp
