Can anyone please give me a true answer regarding the weather in June - some say it's dry and one of the best times to go, others say it's wet! We are thinking of combining beach holiday (we both love snorkelling) with safari so would love to be able to enjoy the sea - is this possible in June???

  1. the weather in june is actually a bit "rainy"...by a bit I mean it rains atleast ones a week (mostly in the early morning)

    ....very light rains..nothing too big.

the hottest month of Kenya is december.

You have to remember that Kenya is in the equatorial southern hemisphere, so when its winter in europe or the U.S, its summer here and when its summer here its winter there.

  2. I come from kenya myself and June is one of the best times to travel in kenya coz its dry at that time and good for beach holiday.

  3. I live in kenya. June is the end of the dry season and heading on to the coldest month in kenya July. of course our "coldest month" is nothing compared to countries with winter.  June is also the beginning of the peak tourist season. its possible but make sure you book in advance.

ps.  note that weather has gone haywire all over so we cannot really tell.

  4. Its ideal in june becoz

its dry, snorkelling, and safaris would be posible

then and the cost at that time reasonably. The peak season

    starts in July.

    Good luck
