Has anyone gone? Is that the rainy season? Should we go Pacific side or Atlantic side?

  1. Enjoy Costa Rica. It's a wonderful country

  2. Costa Rica is AMAZING.

I went there two years ago for a week, and did a tour like thing, that went to both sides of the country.

I can't say that any were better than the other.

It is the most amazing place, where everything is perfect. The weather, it is soo laid back, inexpensive gift buying, and just overall perfect.

I would really recommend going to Manuel Antonio Park, I think this is on the Pacific side. There are wild monkies and sloths, and there is also a wonderful beach there.

You should also go to the Arenal Volcano, and to the Tabacon Hot Springs. It is very relaxing there, and the natural formations of rock with hot spa-like natural water is breathtaking.

Another thing that you can't miss while traveling to somewehre as exotic as Costa Rica is the rainforests. Once you visit one, you will want to do anything to save them.

I recommend zip-lining through the trees. For those afraid of heights? You get over it as soon as you can take in the nature around you.

No matter what side you travel to, Costa Rica is perfect. It will please you no matter where you go. On the Caribbean side, we stayed at a lovely resort in Tortuguero, which is very secluded, and a great place to relax.

I hope you decide to go to Costa Rica, it will be the best vacation you have ever had. I promise.

  3. Yes I first visited Costa Rica in 1990 and was so enchanted that I have now lived here more than 10 years.  In November it starts to stop raining  LOL.  I am partial to the Pacific side.  The Carribbean side has a heavy Jamaican type Island influence.  There are more drugs on that side.

If you have more specific questions feel free to write to me.

Costa Rica offers beaches , mountains, rain forests, waterfalls, I could go on and on.  I depends on what you are looking for in a vacation.
