We are throwing a birthday party for my 48 year old mom..i need help!!!?

my mom is turning 48 and i want her to have fun and i want to make her laugh does anyone have any ideas for decorations and games???thanks

She was a teenager and early 20's during the Disco era, so maybe a Disco party.  Most people tend to always love the music they listened to as a teenager.....

That's cool---you can have a disco theme plus a punk rock theme, & don't forget she also was in the Michael Jackson era w/ Thriller, oh! & don't forget 'Boy George"---.... she knows it all. Have folks dressed up like any of the categories, she'll love it! Give prizes out to 'best dressed', etc...

Have that type music playing.....decorations? Get a disco globe & lots of strobe lights...(Maybe a DJ can set it all up for you).& dance...your mom will love it! That is so kind of you.

Well, one thing that you can do is play the "Famous" game.  When everyone walks into the party, they get a name tag on their back with the name of a famous person (Big Bird, Marilyn Monroe, Sharon Stone, etc.).  You then play 20 questions to help the person figure out who they are.  It's a lot of fun and it will definitely make your mom laugh!
