We are travelling to Germany in May 2009, what must we see and what must we do when there?

Munich is great and there's a Free Tour there, so you can have lots of guided tours and pub crawls for free and for low prices, lots of beer! And also Berlin is fun and great too, try the Bundestag, the pub crawl with the Berlin free tours and more.

I am not German, by the way :) I still found Germany a super place to visit! Good luck and enjoy!

At a minimum, Berlin, Munich, at least one small town, like Rothenburg, and at least one castle, like Burg Eltz.

WOW !!!  You sure planning...early!!!

Well...there are  M A N Y  places over here to see... it all depends, what you're interested in??? We have catles on the river RHEIN... which are  THE attraction to most americans!!!

We got the "Alps" down South... in Munic "The Hofbräuhaus", the Octoberfest... but you go in May...which is a good time!
