  1. Yes you can homeschool. You'll have to find out about the specific provincial laws for where you plan on being. DON'T rely on HSLDA Canada--they haven't updated their site in who knows how long. Try instead doing a search for Canada homeschool laws. There should be a flora.org site or something like that which will pop up.

You don't pay for homeschooling in Canada. Or anywhere, for that matter.

  2. Canada is a big country.  What province do you live in?  The rules vary from province to province.  Some pay you and others don't, but they all allow you to homeschool.

  3. I'm not sure where in Canada you live. I'm in BC and am a homeschooling mom of seven. Homeschooling can coast very little or it can cost a ton. Some families choose to buy expensive, it's all there in the box materials, others use the library and buy used. We're in the middle. I try to buy used or split the cost with someone else, we live in a small town which has a tiny library so getting books from there isn't a good option for us.

Some distance education programs will give you money to spend on educational resources.

I suggest looking at what the laws in your province/territory are by doing a google search.

    Happy home learning!

  4. try looking it up on the homeschool legal defense association website.  they might have the legal info that you need to know or a link to a website that can help you.  good luck!!!!
