We as Canadians have a surplus of oil, why arent we using it? ?

Why must we sell to other countries?

There would be more money in it. Australia has oil mines of our own, but our government prefer to buy oil in rather than using our own resources. The more a country exports, the higher their dollar is worth.

It does not have to if Canadian can drive a vehicle made with oil, drink oil insted of Coke, eat cakes made with oil, ... live in a shelter built with oil, ....
