We cleaned the car completly it still smells, I think if we spray it with vinegar everything will work out.

  1. first try shampooing it again with a heavy duty upholstery shampooer, then try sprinkling tons of baking soda all over the car and let it sit there for a few days then vacuum out, spray some febreeze all over and hopefully that will work!

    I hate dog smell!

  2. Febreeze may work.  Otherwise, I would get the interior shampooed by a professional.  I am a big fan of vinegar for many, many things but I don't think I would use it in this instance.

  3. Febreze the heck out of it!!! leave the windows open and do it like 2 or 3 times...Or just get your upholstry shampooed

  4. I haven't had any success with Febreze.

I've got the solution for eliminating the odor for good... and safe and totally fragrance free. Go out and get a couple of the FRIDGE-IT activated carbon odor absorbers - little purple cube - not the imitations. and put a couple in your car and trunk. Totally unscented so it actually eliminates odor rather than covering up with some nasty fragrance and totally safe to use.

I've used these for worst smells in fridge and ice in freezer. Also, took care of spoiled fish in car which was really bad.  Also have two cats and use these on litter box - they are FANTASTIC No spills or chemicals to worry about. You can buy these in kitchen gadget stores or just go direct which is what I do - contact them at customerservice@innofresh.com and ask for order form. You get it right away.

Definitely the way to go. try it.

    Good luck
