  1. just reverse it to make it lift instead.though you might want to look into what sounds like a bigger problem. sounds as if your hitch isnt rated for the amount of weight your trying to pull, or you have way too much tongue weight. if this is a large camper,(6000 lbs + ) and your trying to pull it with a class 3 your already doing the wrong thing, and you NEED to get a class 4 hitch with equalizer bars installed. a class 3 hitch is rated only for 5,000 lbs/500 lbs tongue weight. with an improper hitch setup, when you step on the brakes, the trailer is going to nosedive, and lift your front end of the tow vehicle up, meaning you wont have all your brakes, and no almost no steering

  2. Yes, you can turn it upside down.

If the camper is anything other than a tiny popup, you may also want to look into an equilizer hitch, which uses a big bending bar to lift up the rear of the tow vehicle.

  3. Just flip the ball mount over, and flip you ball. Instead of a drop, you have a lift. They are still rated for the same weight either way you install it.
