  1. The media mostly......I mean Iraq had over 82 divisions including over 2000 tanks and we defeat them within days and our airpower was unrivaled they had more aa defences over bagdad than germanty had over Europer in all of ww2 and we still didn't lose a single plane we won Iraq the war its Iraq the occupation were losing and what the meida always leaves out is the progress or they froget to mention that they kileled o1 or 2 of our guys but lost at least 20-50 insergants in the process

They also don't mention that the insergands fighting in iraq are mostly foreign fighters a very small persantage are iraqie

  2. We are basically keeping the peace over there, from what I understand...

The USA can do whatever we want to do, we are simply just taking it easy ... after all, this ain't WW3, but allot of people think it is ...

They are cowards, because they are sick and tired of us killing em, so they figure they will go out with a bang anyway...

I was going to join, I was going to be MP...

I would have seen alot of action...

  3. The Revolutionaries were terrorists too.

  4. Street Ambush . Guerrilla Warfare. Also oil supplies not destroyed.

If refineries dismantled and major airports destroyed plus rationing of oil  done back home then possible. Peopkle require this messag'e in War On Terror. Posters to the effect that ''He Who Rides Alone  Rides With .''.. whoever. Like WW2 posters except other bad guy put in place of Hitler. Other reason is torture put to use in Iraq and people do not like foreign armies to occupy their land. Not enough troops as Iraq has more people than the entire U.S. Army has at present. Also someone has to find a uniter so The U.S. can leave. People know Iraq Gov is a puppet one linked to oil.

  5. You can't defeat (beat) a country through occupation. As long as the natives have the will to fight.

    And hopefully they do.

  6. Do you want to kill innocent people by usa soldiers?

Wanna see blood? Take gun and kill by yourself innocent people of Iraq. As i see you love blood. You love blood of osettian people, you love blood of Iraq people. Are you murder? Your *** now in soft chair, you are sitting at home but you are too agressive coze never seen how war is alwfull. How it is alwull when someone killing people

  7. Don't think that anyone is disputing that the US/UK could militarily obliterate pretty much any country in the world. People aren't saying we can't beat Iraq, they're saying we can't win in Iraq by the very standards set by the administration when they went in. i.e. "Operation Freedom" ho ho ho. The stated objective was regime change to get rid of Hussein and replace him with a stable democracy. Right now of course we're being caught out in our own hypocrisy as this was never the point and the Iraqis know it. Perversely of course we are "winning" in that the unstated objective was to secure future oil contracts, provide an ever expanding market for Bush's buddies in the arms and military logistics industry and build regional Hegemony by the establishment of a strong military presence in the heart of the Middle East. The hundreds of thousands of deaths amongst Iraqi citizens and the few thousand body bags arriving back in the states fell well within the limits of acceptable losses.....

  8. Most people don't really understand what's going on in Iraq. It really kind of flips my lid when I hear arrogant 15 year olds tell me that I'm a dumbass for wanting to fight a "lost" war in a few years. I try to reason with them, but some people will believe anything and everything people tell them.

  9. Seth said it all.He really said it all.

  10. well people are dumb. we beat there army quick and easily. the problem is that the insurgents never stop. the longer we are there the more there will be. u cant "win" a war against insurgents unless u kill everybody in the country. if another army invaded us and occupied us for a long time wouldnt u wanna be an "insurgent"?

  11. The last time I checked there were 2 American deaths caused by fighting in Iraq and a government that seems strong enough to kick us out.  Our objectives were met and the people who hand on the the delusion that we are losing do it because they hate the war and do everything they an to tear it apart.

  12. get your facts straight you dumb $hIt

  13. In short, yes we did defeat the Iraqi Army and Republican Guard rather quickly.

However, we face Islamist Jihadists who claim we are "crusaders." Jihad is the term for Muslims to call up to arms to fight off a visible enemy in the face of Allah.

Right now, we are actually winning the war by assisting the Iraqi and Afghan governments. The way I see this though, is to surround Iran and at the same time, get oil resources from Afghanistan and Iraq.

  14. Ah, you think they're talking just from a military standpoint.  It's a lot more complicated than that, friend.  Political, social and economic forces are in play here as well.

You might start with, "Why are we there when years ago we declared 'Mission Accomplished'?"
