  1. there is no blood relation there, but it is kind of a cool connection. I know at least 60 people who I have this connection with, and even though we aren't blood related we treat each otherr as though we are. ;)

  2. No, you are not related. This child is merely your Uncle's wife's nephew. Just as you are the nephew of the man which his Aunt married.

You are so unrelated, you are not even considered to be kissing cousins or country cousins. (These are all blood relations)

If you are female and you wanted to marry this other person, it would be perfectly legal as that you are not related.

Your Uncle's wife is called, your Aunt, this is showing respect to your Uncle.

Your only true aunt or uncle must be either your mother or father's siblings.

Your Grandparents siblings are either your great uncle or your great aunt.

  3. I agree with  Tiana, what matters in a family is that bond of love, Family is Family and the bond is by blood or love, the bonds of rue love are stronger.

  4. He is your cousin's cousin. You two have no legal, blood or genealogical relationship. Other than "Cousin's Cousin" there is no word to describe the relationship. You can CALL him a cousin if you like him, or "Boogerhead" if you don't. If you want to date him, go ahead.

  5.   I knew a girl in college that I joking ly referred to as my "cousin-in-law".

My father's sister ( my aunt) was married to her father's brother (her uncle). In Appalachian parlance she was kith (related by association) instead of kin ( related by "blood")

  6. Lots of people are fathers, mothers, uncles, aunts, brothers and sisters to people who have no tie whatsoever to them. Having a TITLE is not important, it's your relationship with the person that counts l think!

  7. An uncle by marriage is no relative at all, but as a courtesy is known as an uncle. (Same thing with an aunt.) So, no, no relationship at all.
