We both are of Indian nationality but live in different states. I'm divorced by mutual. She is 20 years of age, I am 34 years old. The marriage is against her parents will. We wish to get married in her state of residency. What are the procedures, what are the documents required. What is the time period required for the complete procedure. Is there any restriction on age difference.

  1. Both are adults and wish to marry in her State

Fine. U 2 have to make application with the office of the marriage register, wait for the specified time and then get a registered marriage done. U need 2 witnesses each side but not necessarily her parents / family.

U need to keep ready your birth certificates, so the parents do not claim her to b less than 18 years.

Pls. ensure that all her certificates are taken out before you give notice. Consult local lawyer and police station if you have reliable contacts

The parents can lodge case that you duped her, she has stolen ornaments at your suggestions etc so b careful.

U need to have residence in joint name preferably but not on 11 months lease as parents can say that she was forced to sign only for your lust and her innocence. U have to prove your bonafides

  2. You mean you want to marry a 14 year old girl?!  You are a pervert!  It is illegal and you need some serious counselling.

  3. You want to know what you have to do to get married in her state of residence.  But you don't say where that is.

Tell me, were you born stupid or did your parents pay for you to have lessons?
