I know that I can go up to tools, internet connections, and then delete things. Are the items in the yahoo search known as cookies? I tried deleting the history, but it didn't delete anything in the yahoo search topics.

  2. The first idea anyone reading your question is going to have on their mind is that YOU did a search and are trying to get rid of the evidence.haha..  Sorry, just being honest.

Anyway, if you TRULY just got a used machine, I would say just use the system restore CD.  Since the machine wasn't yours, you probably don't care about anything the other person had on there.  If you don't have a restore CD, simply contact the manufacture.

  3. Tools>Browser Options>Clear Search/Clear URLs

  4. reboot your PC with the disks that came with  it  start fresh

  5. Down load free : CCLeaner, wipe it clean and keep it clean,it also has many other uses too.
