We bought dvd from amazon it wont play on our player it says wrong region what do we do?

we bin told you can change region on player our region is 2 and we need to set it to 1 how do you do this

Download dvdunlocker from www.dvdunlocker.com & this can make your player multiregional. It's quite cheap and you could get your money back by unlocking all your friend's players if they have the same problem.

If you do decide to change your region try and change it to region 0 this will play all regions afterwards the guy above's answer is best

I tried to hack mine and it wouldn't work. I ended up buying a multi regional DVD player. It was so cheap. Like $30 and it works fine.
