Question:

We can't appeal anymore?

Since deleted questions and answers are so prevalent on this forum, I thought I'd ask this here.

I got a violation notice earlier about a question I asked yesterday. I don't see why it was deleted, so I want to appeal it. But here's the problem. There's no place to appeal it on the e-mail like there usually is. I tried replying directly to the e-mail I got, but it failed twice. So I guess it's gone for good.

Has Yahoo taken the ability to appeal away now? This happened on the last thing I had removed before this one too.

  1. It wouldn't do any good to submit an appeal on this web site anyways, seeing that they only ignore any appeals on here..............

  2. your questions are c**p rebal thats why you can't appeal.

  3. Yeah - they took away the link that comes with the violation notice mail. Some days ago, Celtish posted a link here that could be used for appealing (the one that Guns has posted above).

I would say, go for it. I have appealed (though rarely) and many of my responses have come back to life - burning the reporters' fingers in the process.

  4. You can appeal by using this form

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/answers...

Don't bother though, since the majority of the time Yahoo will just ignore your appeals; at least from my experience.

  5. Could it be related to a question that Flying Horse asked earlier that the feminist supported. The suing of the ISP for politicaly incorect statements.

Wouldn't it be easier to remove everything v/s face a lawsuit.

  6. I didn't notice that. I haven't had any violations for a few days, but all of the ones I did get, I deserved.  I was on a lyrical rampage. For types of rampages, see the following link:

Next time I get a violation that I didn't deserve, I'll search for that option and let you know! :)

  7. I think it has......I tried to do the same thing, Reb.....It didn't have the "If you feel the need to appeal" thing in the violation email they send you.

  8. No. I have won 4 of 5 appeals.

    GO BLUE.

  9. I noticed that on my last violation.  No reason for the violation and no way to appeal.  I just stopped caring about my violations.  If there was nothing wrong with it, I just go on.  I don't even open the E-mails anymore.  I don't care.  There are obviously so many violations and appeals, and appeals from appeals, that Yahoo has decided they don't care.

Consider the violation as a compliment.  You evidently got to somebody.  If you really did something wrong, don't do it any more.
