  1. You can upload individual files up to 5MB in size. And that is also true for photos at attachments that you are sending to your groups.

"Messages up to 1MB can be delivered to your group. This includes both the message body and the attachment. As a general rule, attachments should be no larger than 800KB. If you post a message larger than 1MB it will be returned to you."

You can send bigger files via:

    www.rapidshare.com

    www.yousendit.com

  2. Go to your group and Add A Text File in the Files area.  You will have to be cautious about the size of the new file since there is a limit to space allocated to Files.

  3. that's what yahoo allows through e-mail in a post- try sending it directly to those who want the file instead of through the group or upload it the file section

What’s the maximum size of messages that can be posted to a group?

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

  4. If you're talking about your email at work, your IT folks have put a 1Mb limit on file attachments.  Pretty common, although ours is 5 Mb.
