that's what yahoo allows through e-mail in a post- try sending it directly to those who want the file instead of through the group or upload it the file section

You can upload individual files up to 5MB in size. And that is also true for photos at attachments that you are sending to your groups.

Yahoo groups when they're created have the option of turning off attachments as a reaction to virus and spyware!
